Great quality. Exactly what we needed to build a modern louvered slat wall sliding door for carport opening. We enclosed the carport, but still needed access privacy from the street traffic or street view, but also wanted to maintain air flow. This created the perfect solution with our MCM modern look we wanted on a 1965 home with a carport. A space no one used is now a patio area!! We plan on ordering more for other areas of the home!!

I ordered this louver kit to screen our master bathroom window which faces the street in front of our home. Our home sits on a hill below the street level, making it very easy to see into that window. I love to keep our blinds open in that bathroom because it is the only source of natural light, but I also obviously need privacy in the bathroom. So a new pergola on the front of the house will have a wall of louvered screens that will allow me to forgo the blinds on the window as long as the louvers are closed.At a previous home, we had a hand-crafted louvered privacy wall on our deck that I loved — but it had a design flaw that eventually led to its premature failure. The hardware mounted to the thin edge of each louver, which looked clean but couldn't hold up over time. When I came across this kit, I recognized immediately that it solved that exact problem. The brackets attach to the wide face of the board instead, which is far more structurally sound and has the added benefit of making individual board replacement straightforward if it ever becomes necessary.The hardware is sturdy, substantial, and clearly well-made. The instructions are straightforward and installation looks very doable as a DIY project. I appreciate that the kit accommodates up to 22 boards and is easily expandable beyond that if your project calls for it.At $26, this kit is a remarkably economical way to add privacy to an outdoor space. The finished project will look like it cost considerably more. I'd order it again without hesitation.

I've been wanting this product for a while to build a privacy screen. They look so similar to a product I used at a client's home; they will most certainly create the same effect I created for a client. The value for the money is spot on!

So far so good. I will have to post an update once these are fully installed. I'm remodeling an outdoor space for my wife. I plan on purchasing another 5 more of these kits. The metal seems good quality and plenty thick. I counted all contents to make sure everything was included. I will say the box it came in was partially destroyed, but I'm assuming that's Amazons fault and not the seller. Installation looks easy enough, and I plan on using 5.5in fence pickets. The black metal looks sleek, and the material feels like it should easily stand up to the elements. Looking forward to posting a picture!

I recently received this deck sunblind louver kit and will be using it as part of our coastal home build to create louvered privacy panels underneath our raised pylon home. We plan to use the area below the house as a hangout space as well as for parking and storage, so these panels will allow us to create privacy while still maintaining good airflow. The instructions were easy to follow, and I like that all of the components needed to assemble the system are included. One feature I especially like is that the brackets are powder coated, which is important for our coastal environment where exterior hardware is constantly exposed to humidity and salt air. I will be replacing the included screws with galvanized screws, but that is simply because I do that with nearly all of the exterior hardware on our home to better suit our climate. The brackets themselves feel solid and well made. I also really like the flexibility of the louver system. You can adjust all 11 louvers at the same time to fully open or fully close the panel, or you can adjust individual louvers if you want partial privacy or to direct airflow differently. That gives us much more control over the amount of shade, privacy, and ventilation than a fixed panel would provide. During our test assembly, everything fit together well and operated smoothly. I also like that we can choose our own lumber and finish to match the rest of our home instead of being limited to a prefinished panel. For the quality of the hardware, ease of assembly, powder-coated finish, and adjustable louver design, I feel this is an excellent value.
