I work on a mix of things, including cars, small engines, computers, phones, electronics, and general repair projects, so precision screwdriver sets are something I actually use. I have tested a lot of GRENPRO tools and have built up a decent collection of them. My experience with the brand has been pretty consistent. They are usually budget-friendly tools that are not premium, but they are generally good enough to earn a place in the shop if your expectations are reasonable. This 152-in-1 precision screwdriver set has been one of the better GRENPRO kits I have used so far.The biggest strength is the bit selection. This kit includes a huge assortment of small bits, and that is exactly what I want in an electronics repair set. When working on laptops, desktops, phones, game controllers, cameras, small appliances, toys, glasses, watches, computer accessories, and random household electronics, the hard part is often finding the right bit. A normal screwdriver set does not cover many of the oddball fasteners found in modern electronics. This set gives you a much better chance of having the bit you need right there in the case. The listing describes the kit as a 152-piece electronics repair set with 124 short bits, 4 longer bits, multiple sleeves, split picks, a magnetizer/demagnetizer, suction cups, a plastic pry tool, a 1/4" to 4mm adapter, a flexible shaft, tweezers, and a 4mm handle. That is a lot packed into a small case. For the type of work I do at the bench, I would rather have more bits than fewer, as long as the case keeps them organized. This set has now become my go-to small electronics kit. It stays on top of one of my benches because I have been reaching for it often enough that putting it away in a drawer does not make sense. I have used it for several weeks now and have had no issues. The bits have fit the fasteners I have used them on, the handle has worked well, and the case has made it easy to keep everything together. The telescoping handle is one of my favorite parts of the kit. I did not expect to like that feature as much as I do, but it has been very useful. Sometimes you need a shorter handle for control and close work. Other times, a little extra reach helps when a screw is recessed or when you are working around a deeper housing. Being able to extend the handle makes the set more flexible without needing multiple separate drivers sitting on the bench. The handle feels good enough for precision work. It is not a high-end driver handle, but it works well for the kinds of small screws this set is meant for. I would not use this kit for heavy torque work, and I would not expect the handle to replace larger screwdrivers or nut drivers. For electronics, computers, phones, small devices, and light repair work, it feels appropriate. The magnetic bit retention is also helpful. Tiny screws are easy to drop, especially inside laptops, computer cases, cameras, toys, and small electronics. A magnetic tip helps keep control of the screw and reduces the chance of losing it inside a device or on the floor. I still work carefully, but the magnetic setup makes small work easier. The magnetizer/demagnetizer is a nice addition. Some jobs benefit from a stronger magnetic tip, while other jobs may call for less magnetism depending on the work surface or device. Having that included in the kit adds value and means I do not have to grab another bench accessory. The flexible shaft is useful in the right situation. It is not something I use constantly, but when a screw is tucked at an odd angle or behind something, it can help. Like most flexible shafts in these types of kits, it is better for light work than high torque. I would use it for access, not force. The pry tools, suction cups, and tweezers are also useful extras. For phone, tablet, laptop, and small electronics work, opening the device is often half the job. Plastic pry tools help reduce the chance of marking a case compared with using a metal screwdriver. The tweezers help with small screws, connectors, jumpers, clips, and tiny parts. The suction cups may be helpful for screen or panel work depending on the device. The case is important with a set this large. A kit with this many small bits can become a mess quickly if the storage is poor. This case keeps the bits organized well enough, and I like that the sizes are laid out in a way that makes the kit usable at the bench. If a precision set is hard to navigate, I stop using it. This one has stayed on my bench because it is easy enough to open, find what I need, and put the bit back. The bit material is listed as S2 steel. S2 is commonly used for driver bits, and I like seeing it listed because small precision bits need to be hard enough to resist rounding but not so brittle that they snap under normal use. I have not used this set long enough to know how every bit will hold up over time, but so far I have not had problems with the bits I have used. This is still no...

“I already have enough small screwdrivers” said no one, ever. And, although I have some precision type drivers in my various tool boxes and tool bags, I can always use a few more to add to my collection. And this set from GrenPRO, with an extensive set of small driver bits, is a welcome addition. The set is listed as being good for things like cell phones, computers, laptops, etc. But also included are RC cars, which is the main reason why I got it. I have a small but growing collection of mini and micro RC cars and I think that this set will be ideal. It will also be good when I fix eyeglasses, laptops, tablets, and (occasionally but hopefully not often) phones. The core of this set is the handle, which holds each of the 120 bits securely with a magnet. All of the bits have a 4mm hex base which fit into the matching opening on the driver handle. The business end of the handle extends about two inches in case you need a little extra reach. And the end of the handle has a rotating cap.All of the bits, the handle, and the included accessories are held securely in a sturdy plastic case. The bits are held so securely that I sometimes needed a pair of needle nose pliers to remove them, especially the smaller bits. But I would rather deal with that than have them falling out in a big mess. Each bit’s storage spot is labelled on the case, but you will need eyes better than my old ones to see them well. But it is still a nice touch. So, I expect that this set will come in very handy. I have other tools made by GrenPRO, the same company that makes this set, and they seem to be well made. I reached out to them via the Amazon message system regarding the warranty on this set and they informed me that their tools have a two year warranty, which is not too bad. I will be keeping a look out for more tools from them.

I've become a fan of Grenpro tools. They come within 80-90% of the best tools out there at a fraction of the price. This is no exception -- indeed, it's hard to imagine how they can sell a kit like this at the current price! To begin with, it's super complete. If there's a small computer screw this won't fit, I've never seen one, and I'm an electrical engineer. It has handy extra tools like a long, fine tweezer, spudgers, and suction cup, making it great for use on something like a phone. The screwdriver handle has a cool built-in extension (see the photo) and it comes with a flexible extension shaft. The case is tough and attractive, and comes with a built in magnetizer/de-magnetizer, a nice touch. The size of the bits is printed next to them, a welcome touch -- not that easy for my old eyes to read, though, without magnification or glasses. The exception? The bits are so tightly packed that I can't pull them out by hand! It can be a pain to extract larger bits from similar friction fit cases, but you can always wiggle them out. In this case, I need to use a needlenose pliers to get them out.But -- if you have a needlenose handy, and I always do when I'm working on electronics, the kit is great.

Very versatile and complete set of decent quality. Good variety of bits and accessories. Even has security torx bits like youd find on a lot of electronics these days like my xbox one controller. The case is nice and keeps everything organized and is strong enough to take a beating and lug around. The flexible extension is really useful for me.The biggest downsides are like others have stated, the bits are really stuck in there. It takes a bit of force to get the out. Really just need a pair of pliers at that point because they are very small and hard to grip onto. At first i thought not such a big deal, but when youre changing bits constantly its a pain. There's also a thin layer of grease on the base of the bits and on the actual screwdriver shafts and it seems to have just gotten everywhere. That makes it even harder to grip the bits and is just plain unpleasant to deal with because it gets all over your hands and transfers onto whatever youre working with. Its a bit annoying honestly and ive found myself going for different tools I already have just not to deal with the grease.Overall though if you're looking for specific bits for specific applications this kit provides a solid value and it comes with a good amount of other accessories that are very useful.

I have bought several tool sets from Grenpro, and have been impressed with both the quality and value of their tools. This precision screwdriver set is no exception. This has every bit that I think I will ever need. It has a nice selection of standard and every security bits that I would need for electonics work. Removing screws is so easy now. Comes with tweezers, an adapter to use the bits in regular drivers, bendable extension shaft, and extension built into the screwdriver handle. While working on small portable devices, there are two common challenges: finding the right tiny bit, and keeping the tinier screws from getting lost. This set solves both problems, as the variety of very small bits in this collection is extensive, and the magnetic holding quality reduces the likelihood of losing screws that are easy to drop, and difficult to find, both on your floor and on the internet. All of the parts in this set are very high quality, and the case is quite secure. Product arrived in perfect condition, having been packed well in a sturdy box. This set is bigger and more extensive than most of the sets you will see, so it does add a bit more weight to your toolbag than a smaller kit, but you won't be surprised with a random security screw with this. Very pleased with this set and plan on purchasing a couple more to give as gifts to friends of mine. Highly recommend.

This is for "GRENPRO Magnetic Precision Screwdriver Set, 152-In-1 Computer Screwdriver Kit With Case"Pricing: $29.99 when requested, $22.39 after coupon when reviewedCase, bits, and other parts are of lower end tool quality, or average for tools at this price point. Bit slot legends are hard to read as it is light white printing on bright orange. Black would contrast better against the orange background.Bits that surround the handle in the base are very hard to remove, and the tight spacing doesn't help. This would be a much better kit if the bits were held magnetically instead of through friction. Turns the kit from an enjoyable tool to use to something one dreads using, only if nothing else is available.

Impressive variety driver heads. I'm hard pressed to think of any type of small electronic or item held together with small fasteners that this set of bits couldn't address. I've reviewed a number of kits containing precision small and micro bits and many of them did not have this wide of an assortment. The kit contains a screw driver with a rotating base, flexible extension, tweezers etc. The case itself robust and well laid out with each bit's slot marked with the size of the bit. Each bit is held in place very securely, so much so that it a bit difficult to get a grip and pull out the micro bits. Two plastic pry bars and 2 spudgers for prying open cell phone case's are in there. Also a small suction cup a built in tray for tiny screws. Magnetizer/demagnetizer slots, always useful when dealing with tiny fasteners. All in all a very comprehensive, well laid out repair kit of good quality. 5 stars
