We absolutely love this fan. Our house is about 100 years old and all the fans are very dated, and our bedroom fan stopped working eventually. I found this fan and thought it would look really nice in the bedroom. My husband said it was fairly straightforward to install. It provides a nice airflow in the bedroom. I wish we had installed it earlier! I have hot flashes at night and I don't know how we went so many months without having a ceiling fan, lol. I recommend this fan!

This fan can be used in outdoor situations such as a covered porch, garage or barn space where heat and humidity can be a factor. That is where I prefer to go with these because while the blades on a regular fan will bend with the humidity, these will stay as they should as they and the main housing are made of plastic.The plastic parts are easy to care for too.The fan is not noisy. Only normal wind noise is noted. The light works nicely. Both are controlled by the included remote.This is a nice looking low profile fan with light at an economical price point that is sure to please.

Make no mistake, this DABOUHORS is, as others have pointed out, all light-weight plastic.Having said that, motors and light kits are much, much lighter than they were in older ceiling fans, so the lighter weight materials are housing lighter weight components. So being plastic isn't necessarily a bad thing.We like the simple, modern/minimalist design, but have not decided yet on whether to install it in the home office or master bedroom.We ran a quick test and this fan is pretty quiet, which will be nice if we decide to install it in our master bedroom.Our current bedroom fan doesn't have lights, so a kit kit is a welcome feature.Being reversible is a MUST for ceiling fans and the 6 speeds are a great upgrade from the standard 3 of our old fan.The mounting plate also being plastic gives us some concern about safety, but since the whole fan is lightweight, we're hoping it won't be a problem.Installation looks straightforward, so hopefully there won't be any issues there.We do think that for $49.99 (at time of order), they could have included batteries for the remote, given the inexpensive materials the fan is made of.

It is very light weight. A little too light weight. This makes it easy to install but just feels flimsy and looks cheap. It is not hard to put together or install. It needs to be hard wired in so you'll need to know what you are doing like turning the breaker off. Tge remote is good but if you lose it it makes adjusting settings a hassle. Id recommend securing the remote to a wall and treating it like a light switch. Fan blades are slightly smaller so thats the most important thing to keep in mind. The air flow is not tremendous.

At 42 inches it’s great for a bedroom or den, but a bit small for a master bedroom.💲 Price & Expectations: In the ~$50 range, so you’re not getting a premium fan — but for the cost, it performs well and the downward airflow is solid.💡 Lighting & Controls: Light is bright in cool mode and pleasantly soft in warm mode. Smooth linear transition between CCT and brightness — just hold the button and it shifts without any noticeable steps.🔩 Mounting & Stability: No ball joint, so it sits firmly against the ceiling. I used the existing junction box screws/bolts; the fan includes multiple hardware options. The plastic plate felt a bit light, so I used the existing two bolts and two screws. The plate’s indent made bolt placement tricky, but pliers fixed that. Styrofoam stoppers on the back of the plate help dampen noise.📄 Instructions & Hardware Oddities: Instructions mention a security rope and a security screw — neither were included. It did come with an extra small screw, but I used one of the other included screws instead. I swapped steps 6 and 8, connecting the quick connectors while holding the fan up seemed easier than trying to use the wirenuts. If the rope had been included, hanging it first would’ve made either method easier.🛠️ Assembly & Install Time: Prepping the blades and housing took the longest. Once assembled, removing the old fan took more time than installing the new one. Because this fan is so lightweight — easily 3 to 4 times lighter than the one I removed — holding it during install was simple.🔊 Noise & Performance: In the video, speed 6 down to 1 shows the wind noise, which is mild. Compared to the old fan, this one is noticeably quieter. No balancing needed; one blade was slightly bent but didn’t cause meaningful wobble.🎛️ Remote Control: Comes with a decent remote offering speed control, CCT change, brightness adjustment, and 2 or 4‑hour timer options.🧩 Overall Impression: Not the highest‑end fan, but for the price it works well, installs easily, and runs quietly. A solid budget option with good lighting and straightforward controls.
