This thing is amazingly MASSIVE and weighty. It also comes impressively well-packaged and protected in the manufacturer's box. Everything is very professionally padded to ensure that this lamp arrives with not even the slightest scratch! Anyways- I HIGHLY recommend putting this together with more than one person. I did it myself and found it quite challenging just due to the sheer size and substantial weight of the components. I managed it in the end, but it would most certainly be easier and faster with two people. (I was literally standing on a bench balancing the top on my head to secure it, lmao).I also recommend not following the directions, which incidentally are very easy to understand but also printed in literal 1-point font. Like I have perfectly good eyesight and I felt like a granny trying to read the text, LOL. But anyways, there's just four parts: the base, the bottom half of the post, the top half of the post, and the top that has the actual LEDs. (Okay, there's also a cable but you just plug that in at the end so it's not part of the assembly process really.) When you're finished, you'll be rewarded with a blindingly bright (but dimmable!) daylight spectrum lamp in a very modern minimalist design. This thing REALLY lights up the room, and is a definitive stylistic focal point. And not only does it have downward directional lighting, there is ALSO an LED panel on the top that points up at the ceiling for more ambient, reflected light! (See top view photo- this part of the lamp is a little unfinished looking, but in most housing scenarios you'll never see it.)Basically, I love Lamp- but put it together like this:1- first put the bottom half of the post onto the base and secure with the correct provided screws (they give you a nice little tool for this)2- next put the LED top onto the top half of the post (these 2 pieces need you to click their simple wiring clips together) and secure with the correct provided screws3- then put these two halves of the lamp together (again you will clip their wires together) and secure with the correct 4 provided screws4- stick the end of the electrical cable into the bottom of the lamp post, then plug it in to an outlet

The lamp arrived in a compact box. Inside included the screws needed for assembly, the tool for assembly, and instruction manual.The instruction manual was pretty straightforward, clear instructions on what to connect and what to attach. I will say that the cable attachment between the pieces although easy to connect, they were a bit difficult to fit between the pieces. I had to wedge them in to make sure they don’t get clamped or crushed when connecting.Attaching both the stand and the light also was a bit difficult. Instructions have you connect the bar assembly, making the unit long and unwieldy when trying to attach the stand or the light fixture. There wasn’t an easy way of holding it together while screwing in the screws. The weight of the lamp is a bit heavy, which makes it hard to brace the parts together to connect.Although it was a bit tricky, I was able to get it all together, and it looks great. The dimming knob works well, and the lamp can be adjusted from low to bright.Overall, this is a nice LED lamp, that easily brightens up a room.

I didn’t want something complicated, just enough work light for 2 people. I order this model because it had just one dimmer switch, although the brightness goes upwards to give some ambient light as well as downwards for task lighting. Well, it’s huge. It’s heavy, but I managed to put it together myself pretty easily. It’s just so sturdy. It seems like hospital equipment or something. The light temperature is just right not too warm, but not too clinically cold. We love it and we might get a different one for upstairs too.
