I got this light fixture because I really liked the modern black design and the fact that six bulbs means it can actually light up a room instead of just hanging from the ceiling looking pretty while everyone wanders around in the dark.And once again, Amazon has apparently assigned a room to a light fixture.This one is advertised as a “Dining Room Light Fixture.”I'm beginning to think household lighting has become way too specialized.What happens if I put it in a bedroom? Does it refuse to turn on until I bring in a dining table? Does it sense that nobody is eating and immediately void the warranty?Because I'm pretty sure this thing has one requirement:A ceiling.The fixture itself looks great. The black metal gives it a clean, modern look, and the six arms spread the light around really well. I also like that you can choose your own bulbs, because the bulb style can completely change the look of it. Also know that you will have to put it together, but it's very simple to do, and it makes for an easier installation.For the price, it makes a much bigger statement than I expected without looking like I spent my entire lighting budget on one fixture.So, whether you put it in a dining room, living room, bedroom, office, hallway, or some rebellious undisclosed location, I think it'll be just fine.Use it wherever you want. I promise I won't tell the Ceiling Fixture Police.

Very unique looking light. Easy to install on a standard light box if you know what your are doing. Good value for a classy looking quality light. It sis somewhat adjustable and uses standard sizing of bulbs so you don't have to go searching. Good option for a rental or a place where shades might bet broken.

I am really happy with this ceiling light. It is modern yet unique. The black stems are heavy duty. Installation was fairly easy. You have to arrange the arms as you install but that is ok. It was easy enough that it didn't take too long. When you add Edison bulbs to this fixture it makes it about 2 feet across! The lights look great when on. It would even look great as a wall sconce for a large wall. Anyways, this is a high quality light at a very good price. I would definitely recommend it.
