Used the flap disc to clean rust off an old trailer and the polisher pad to shine up some aluminum. The 9,500 RPM brushless motor gives you all the power you need. Already have Dewalt batteries from my drill, so getting the tool only was a smart move. This cordless angle grinder runs perfectly on them. The brushless motor has plenty of power, cut through some 1/4" steel plate at full speed. The 3 variable speeds are actually useful – low for polishing, high for cutting. The paddle switch feels safe and natural. A reliable cordless grinder for the price.
