The light level is usable without being harsh. The missing memory is the main drawback, since any unplug wipes the settings.

These are technically night lights, but they’re really more like tiny plug-in ambient lights. Instead of producing one little pool of light near the outlet, they project a rippled light pattern across the wall and ceiling. It makes a hallway or bathroom look surprisingly cool at night.I especially like that they’re dusk-to-dawn lights. Once they’re plugged in, I don’t have to think about them. They come on when the room gets dark and turn off when there’s enough ambient light again.You can also adjust the brightness, which matters because there’s a big difference between enough light to navigate a dark hallway and something bright enough to be irritating when you’re half asleep. Having three color-temperature choices is another nice feature. Warm light gives the projected pattern a cozy golden appearance, while the cooler settings have a completely different look.The plug rotates 180 degrees, which helps enormously with positioning the projection. Depending on where the outlet is located, you can aim the pattern instead of accepting whatever direction the manufacturer happened to choose.You get two in the package, so these are great for opposite ends of a hallway, two bathrooms, or a bedroom and hallway. They’re functional enough to prevent walking into furniture at 2 AM but decorative enough that I actually enjoy having them on.

Alright, these are really cool night lights. I saw these come available through Amazon’s Vine program and ordered them.Out of the package, they don’t feel extraordinary at all and they almost look a bit large. Plugging them in though… WOW. The auto on/off function works very well and the effect looks great. At first, I thought all I could do was cycle through the different colors of light effects and was a bit disappointed one was dimmer than the other. I realized the button I press to change the effect also adjusts brightness if held.Overall, I really like these nightlights and especially like the adjustability and simplicity of doing so. If I could knock them at all, it would be for size, and even then, they really aren't that big... just a bit bigger than I anticipated. 5 Stars!

This is a pair of dimmable dusk to dawn lights. The pattern is a bright sunburst looking pattern. You can push the button on the side of the night light to change between three colors. You can also repeatedly push the button on the side, and it will change the brightness. You can rotate the plug, so the lights face either up sideways or down. The colors are yellow or purple or multi. These lights are very bright and will shine and sparkle all the way onto a ceiling on high setting. The low setting is still very bright and most people would not want it in a room during sleep. They would be great for a hallway or stair lights. You could easily use these for party lights. They would look great as accent lights during a party or holiday.

These night lights provide just the right amount of illumination without being overwhelming. The dusk-to-dawn sensor works reliably, automatically turning the lights on when needed. The adjustable brightness, color temperature options, and rotating head make it easy to customize them for hallways, bathrooms, or bedrooms. Overall, they're functional, energy-efficient, and easy to use.
